The Jackson Art Box

The Jackson Art Box provides students in the Jackson Madison County School System with free art supplies to use as tools for creativity and expression.

JMCSS school counselors receive professional development training and a packet of art activities from an art therapist as an extra resource to help students express themselves.

We believe the Jackson Art Box program provides two important services:

1 - It provides an additional tool for students to be creative and process emotions in a safe space with a licensed professional.

2 - It removes barriers to art-making by providing students with their own art supplies.

Each art box costs an average of $15. Help support the Jackson Art Box program by clicking the drop down menu and choosing “Jackson Art Box” at the link below:

“With our community partners’ support, we will provide 500 art supply boxes to our public schools this year.”
