
NEA Grants
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) American Rescue Plan Grant was awarded to help the arts and cultural sector recover from the pandemic. The Jackson Arts Council is one of only three local arts agencies in the state of Tennessee to be awarded this grant. Arts organizations and artists within Chester, Decatur, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, and McNairy Counties can apply to receive funding.
Eligible applicants for funding include:
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
Units of state or local government
Institutions of higher education
Federally-recognized Indian tribal governments
Individual artists
The NEA grant applications are open from March 1st, 2022 - May 15th, 2022. If you have any questions while applying for the NEA grant, we are eager to assist in any way.
