Arts Backstage 2022

The Jackson Arts Council hosted their annual Arts Backstage fundraiser event on May 10th, 2022.

The event highlighted many local artists and performers both inside and outside of The Ned in Jackson, Tennessee. This was the first large arts event in the City of Jackson’s new Arts District.

Community members gathered to enjoy performances from the Jackson Symphony, Ballet Arts Inc., Lonita McClellan, Coopertheband, and the Ned’s School of Rock. Featured visual artists included Sandy Johnson, Wanda Stanfill, Cynthia Wright, Lendon Noe, Dana Worley, Jamie Sanchez, Frank Lawrence, Karen Holder, Mary Spellings, Rose Byrum, Trunetta Atwater, West TN Creatives Collective, and more. Food and drinks were provided with the purchase of a ticket to the event.

In total, the event raised $18,660.63 to support the arts in Jackson.
